I learned the art of batik at Judson Preparatory High School in Scottsdale, Arizona at the age of 16 and I have continued ever since.  I graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Printing Technology and a Minor in Graphic Design.  I have held exhibitions in England and the United States and have sold my work world wide.

My inspiration comes from memories of my extensive travels around Europe and The United States, visits to South America, Africa and the Middle East, and from many years living in Alaska, England, and most recently, Arizona.  My subject matter includes everything from architecture to traditional costumes of indigenous peoples, as well as flora and fauna native to these regions.
